New Stitch Balloon Art with featured Balloon Artist Jasper from Jasper & Costello

Stitch’s Adventure Club loves to promote cool and local artists that have done Stitch themed work for us in our travels. We have run across another Balloon artist who was daring enough to be placed on the spot, out of their comfort zone, creating our favorite Disney Character, Stitch with balloons; Jasper, from Jasper & Costello Entertainment.

Stitch really is a difficult character with his interesting angles and such, so we always like to throw out the challenge and see if we have takers.

Today in Cedar Park, Texas, South Austin Balloon Twisting artist Jasper, took the challenge and did an excellent rendition of Stitch, for his very first time.  We really do appreciate him taking the time for our little challenge.  He was super nice and excellent with children, and did some very cool versions of Mickey Mouse and Tinker bell as well.

Thank you, balloon twisting artist Jasper for taking the time to figure out how to create Stitch with balloons and creating one for us. His photos and story will last forever.

If you live in the Central Texas area and you are in need of a balloon artist, check out Jasper and his crew.

We were going to show you the live photos we took, but Stitch got a little carried away with the phone.  So we had to take some with another camera.  Stitch has to calm his badness level down and give back our phone sometime., right? :)

Stitch meets Chick-fil-a COO Dan Cathy

Stitch has been spending some more time in Texas.  On his latest installment of adventures, Stitch traveled to San Antonio, Texas to go to a Chick-fil-a Grand Opening  at McCreless Marketplace 4110 S New Braunfels Ave San Antonio, TX 78223 on May 23, 2013. His wranglers partook in the First 100, in which the First 100 people get free Chick-fil-a for a year.  Also during this awesome visit where the Stitch Wranglers got a very cool behind the kitchen tour, Stitch got to meet Chick-fil-a COO Mr. Dan Cathy.  Mr. Cathy was very kind to all guests who approached him (including little blue aliens ;) ) and plays a mean trumpet.  Thanks for the picture and making it an awesome opening.

Mr. Dan Cathy aftarwards was heading to Moore, Oklahoma to help re-open their Chick-fil-a for their community.

We at the Stitch’s Adventure Club send our thoughts and prayers to our friends in Moore, Oklahoma who were touched by that horrible tornado.  We wish for your speedy and tenacious recovery to your families, homes, businesses, and community.

As a special notation: Again we would like to acknowledge that we at Stitch's Adventure Club are a fun fan club. These photos are not meant to be portrayed as endorsement of any kind by any business or person(s), we are just portraying our encounters and photo ops and explaining the situation in which we obtained them.

Stitch's Impromptu Trip to Disneyland!

This last week Wrangler Scorch and Stitch traveled on an impromptu trip to the original Happiest Place on Earth, Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure.

Stitch first checked in to the Disneyland Hotel. He then met up with some character friends; Pluto, Chip, Dale, Goofy, Mickey, Koda, and one he has never met before, Duffy The Bear.

Scorch and Stitch were impressed with the one year old water show, World of Color. WE waited in line for the soft opening of the Little Mermaid ride, but King Triton was creating rough seas, so we will have to ride after it officially opens. Little Mermaid (@ DCA) and Star Tours 3-D (DL) officially open on the same day this Friday, June 3, 2011.

Retrospective: Stitch’s Golden Ticket on a Hot Air Balloon

Today, I, Wrangler Scorch, was looking through the Stitch files, and found a lot of photos we haven’t shared. The following story was a very special moment in Stitch’s Adventure Club history.

During the Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary (now we are currently in it’s 55th year), the Stitch’s Adventure Club had a tip about the 50th anniversary hot air Balloon, Mickey with Golden Ears, being in different cities throughout the country. The adventure club had been on the Inaugural Panama Canal Cruise on the Magic (we have not shared that yet) and also been at Disneyland on July 17th. We had to follow the final “golden” opportunity. This was a press only event, but Stitch’s Adventure Club, was not a press organization, and actually didn’t even have a blog at the time. We were just a fan club. Through a little faith, trust, pixie dust and Disney magic (only current and former Cast Members truly know how this works), we appeared in Albuquerque, New Mexico, (Home of the Hot Air Balloon Festival) and Stitch used his golden opportunity to fly on the 50th DLR Hot Air Balloon, piloted by the first Disney female balloon pilot, Laurie Spencer and her husband Scott Spencer.
During the split two day event, Stitch got to meet the pilots, the ground crew, Mickey and Minnie and the 50th Anniversary Disneyland Ambassadors, while also meeting some new local friends.
We took a couple hundred pictures of the big day, but they wouldn’t all fit on Stitch’s Balloon Board of Fame. He rotates them . ;)Thanks to everyone involved in this awesome experience. It was the first time Wrangler Scorch had been around a hot air balloon and it was extremely exciting to see the balloon inflated and deflated. It was also special because it was Mickey (although it would have been better if it was Stitch). Stitch had a great time too, getting to ride the special 50th Golden Ears Mouse Balloon.

Please remember, we at the Stitch’s Adventure Club, have never had an insider connection to help us and currently get these opportunities just because we are simply the best at what we do; sharing and creating Disney Magic for all. Some people have inquired about insider connections, and we have not been privy. But if someone has an insider connection with Disney, a celebrity, or unique opportunity, that would be interesting for Stitch to partake in, we are all Ears (pun intended).
Some think we are crazy, but we are having fun creating our magical experiences for people of all ages.

Stitch met some Houston Astros today

Stitch loves going out to meet new people, especially sports people.
Today (Tuesday January 26, 2010) Stitch got to meet a few current and former Houston Astro players at Academy Sports in Cedar Park. Stitch’s handler, Mayhem, waited in line at the 2010 Houston Astros Winter Caravan hosted by Academy Sports, so Stitch could meet one of his favorite Astro players, future Hall of Famer Jeff Bagwell.

He also met former pitcher and current Astros commentator Jim Deshaies, relief pitcher Matt Lindstrom and pitcher Bud Norris.
