Stitch's faith in magic is restored with disney store north star

With june 6th being Wrangler Scorch's birthday, key members of Stitch's Adventure Club traveled to San Antonio, Texas.

Again, Jedi Stitch attempted to touch the "Key to Imagination"

We want to thank Carmen and her team for making Wrangler Scorch's day before birthday a magical one. North Star Disney Store in San Antonio, Texas created magical moments for people and blue little aliens of all ages.

Special shout out to CM Andy who met that day. We think you should have Woody on your nametag instead of Buzz, for the funny. :)

New Stitch Balloon Art with featured Balloon Artist Jasper from Jasper & Costello

Stitch’s Adventure Club loves to promote cool and local artists that have done Stitch themed work for us in our travels. We have run across another Balloon artist who was daring enough to be placed on the spot, out of their comfort zone, creating our favorite Disney Character, Stitch with balloons; Jasper, from Jasper & Costello Entertainment.

Stitch really is a difficult character with his interesting angles and such, so we always like to throw out the challenge and see if we have takers.

Today in Cedar Park, Texas, South Austin Balloon Twisting artist Jasper, took the challenge and did an excellent rendition of Stitch, for his very first time.  We really do appreciate him taking the time for our little challenge.  He was super nice and excellent with children, and did some very cool versions of Mickey Mouse and Tinker bell as well.

Thank you, balloon twisting artist Jasper for taking the time to figure out how to create Stitch with balloons and creating one for us. His photos and story will last forever.

Stitch’s Adventure Club’s FIRST Mission Failure: Disney Store NorthPark Center in Dallas,Texas

We at Stitch’s Adventure Club debated for a few days whether or not we wanted or were going to blog about this experience of our FIRST Mission failure.  After much thought, we decided to do so.  We decided we wanted to accentuate how long we have been successful at what we do (whether we have blogged about all of them or not) and re-enforce we are the best at what we do as Stitch Wranglers and Disney / Stitch fans.

Stitch and his Wranglers have done thousands of adventures and missions and met numerous celebrities for 12 years. TWELVE. Twelve years is a long time for having a 100% success rate. We have never been denied access or told no. Most folks are willing participants, after a little magical persuasion, in our adventures, which makes this Disney experience all the more upsetting.  Stitch has gone on the 50th Anniversary Disneyland hot air balloon, met Cal Ripken Jr., Barbara Walters, Michael Phelps, Willie Nelson, rode big giant tortoises, Captained part of the very first Disney Cruise Line Panama Canal voyage, met Disney Store Vice President, Jonathan Storey (who helped with some Stitch Wrangling duties at a new Disney Store opening in California  and we consider him an Honorary Stitch Wrangler and friend of Stitch) and many many other crazy things, plus we have the photographs to prove it!  We figured someday Stitch and his Wranglers would fail a mission, but we never guessed it would be with a Disney entity, EVER.

Well on May 8, 2014, Disney Store NorthPark Center  in Dallas, Texas helped us get to our “First time in FOREVER” mission failure. We are extremely upset about this and are dwelling about it, for now. But after his blog we will let Jedi Stitch handle the rest.

This is the story:

Stitch Wranglers arrived 20-30 minutes before the store opening and were first outside the Disney Store, going outside of their original non-Stitch Wrangling adventures to see if Jedi Stitch could open the store.  Opening the Store, means actually getting to do the magical opening, so Stitch can touch the key, turn the key, etc... We do this for photo ops and souvenirs of our adventures to scrapbook (in the event Stitch has done a task with reward multiple times, a duplicate of said reward goes to one of his team of Wrangler’s as a thank you for helping with his adventures—there are a handful of Official Stitch Wranglers out there that don’t get to experience some things and Stitch likes to spread around the wealth of treasures). One of our Stitch Wranglers asked the opening Cast Member if Stitch could open the store (and let’s face it, this means assistance from a human Wrangler—we always have a Wrangler behind the alien), they said yes, but when it came time to do so, their imagination obviously left the building and selected another to do the opening.

We always thought Disney Stores were supposed to be magical for ALL of their guests (that is how we always did it-as former Disney Store Cast Member(s) we know and understand the standard) because as Walt Disney once said “Adults are only kids grown up, anyway."  But I guess at NorthPark Center in Dallas, Texas they feel they shouldn't be all out magical to blue aliens and their adult wranglers who write, share a blog and create magical experiences for adults and children everywhere (even many Disney Cast Members).  Epic FAIL.

Thank you Disney Store NorthPark Center for being our FIRST (and hopefully ONLY) mission failure.  It was bound to happen eventually, I guess, but after 12 years of doing adventures, we are sad and surprised that it was with Disney and not a celebrity that thinks we are CRAZY.

Jedi Stitch has used his Jedi Mind tricks to erase this dis-enchanted experience and location from his memory banks, choosing only to re-collect all of his former and future experiences of AWESOME.

-Being touched by US Secret Service and President Clinton (we only have an autographed mini shirt as proof of this experience--Secret Service would not allow cameras to record the experience)
-Piloting the Disney Magic during the Inaugural Cruise of the Panama Canal (Stitch Wranglers were not allowed where Stitch went. Crew members escorted our favorite alien with Wrangler cameras).
-Being taken backstage at Walt Disney World to see the Disney MGM Studios Water Tower up close for a final time before the name change (Stitch Wranglers were not allowed behind the scenes with Stitch)
-Being on a flight of the 50th Anniversary Golden Mickey Hot Air Balloon in New Mexico
-Traveling to Key West Florida and meeting the famous Hemingway Cats
- Riding on a Giant Tortoise
- Cruising South Beach, Florida
- Multiple Disney Store events

Stitch meets Chick-fil-a COO Dan Cathy

Stitch has been spending some more time in Texas.  On his latest installment of adventures, Stitch traveled to San Antonio, Texas to go to a Chick-fil-a Grand Opening  at McCreless Marketplace 4110 S New Braunfels Ave San Antonio, TX 78223 on May 23, 2013. His wranglers partook in the First 100, in which the First 100 people get free Chick-fil-a for a year.  Also during this awesome visit where the Stitch Wranglers got a very cool behind the kitchen tour, Stitch got to meet Chick-fil-a COO Mr. Dan Cathy.  Mr. Cathy was very kind to all guests who approached him (including little blue aliens ;) ) and plays a mean trumpet.  Thanks for the picture and making it an awesome opening.




Mr. Dan Cathy aftarwards was heading to Moore, Oklahoma to help re-open their Chick-fil-a for their community.  


We at the Stitch’s Adventure Club send our thoughts and prayers to our friends in Moore, Oklahoma who were touched by that horrible tornado.  We wish for your speedy and tenacious recovery to your families, homes, businesses, and community.

Yes, Stitch understands Texas is its own Republic. In the State of Texas, he can carry around his alien Taser freely without getting into trouble. Watch out Texans! When Stitch's Badness level is high, who knows what can happen. We Stitch Wranglers will keep a handle on Stitch. ;)

Stitch doesn’t really talk politics, but Stitch would like to run for President someday. So please, change the constitution to allow Intergalactic candidates to run for the highest office in the United States. Stitch loves the U.S.A.! Aloha!

Stitch loves going out to meet new people, especially sports people. Today (Tuesday January 26, 2010) Stitch got to meet a few current and former Houston Astro players at Academy Sports in Cedar Park. Stitch’s handler, Mayhem, waited in line at the 2010 Houston Astros Winter Caravan hosted by Academy Sports, so Stitch could meet one of his favorite Astro players, future Hall of Famer Jeff Bagwell.

He also met former pitcher and current Astros commentator Jim Deshaies, relief pitcher Matt Lindstrom and pitcher Bud Norris.

Stitch loves UT! Stitch hangs out there often. Stitch was really excited to be able to go and meet some of his favorite athletes at this years fan appreciation day, Texas Two Step: The Ultimate August Autograph Outing, featuring the 2009 Football team and the 2009 Women’s Volleyball team.

Both teams are currently Nationally ranked #2 in the country in the pre-season polls.

Stitch meets Danny DeVito

It’s Stitch again coming to you from Texas. I took my BRB (Big Red Battleship) over the southern skies back to Austin because I heard that Danny DeVito was going to me in town and I wanted to meet him. I became a fan on his when he did the voice of Phil in the Disney movie Hercules. I also saw him on some reruns of the TV show Taxi and I thought to myself, “I think he is just as short as I am!” Well, he was a little taller than me in person but he was a really nice guy, too.
Danny was in Austin promoting his new adult lemon beverage. Although I was not able to taste it, as it was not age appropriate, my wranglers were able to taste it and liked it. Stitch will get the bottle when it is empty. Danny posed with Stitch and gave Stitch his autograph too!

Stitch loves Willie Nelson

Stitch loves Willie Nelson! Stitch thinks Willie has good songs and is a true Rebel (without claws of course). Stitch has made one of Willie's hits an unofficial theme song of the Stitch's Adventure Club. why? Because it fits.

Stitch is always traveling (at least that is the whole point of his Adventure Club), so, On the Road Again, is the obvious choice as an unofficial anthem.

That is why it was so importante for Stitch to meet Willie. Had Stitch known Willie was going to wear black the other night, Stitch would have worn black too (and a cowboy hat). But Stitch is happy anyway.

So as requested by some fans, Stitch is posting a better pic of "Stitch, the tribute artist: Willie Nelson".

Now let Stitch explain, Tribute Artist. The tribute artist, is when me, Stitch, dresses like a famous celebrity using key elements from their known celebrity. For example, Willie is known for his red bandana, braids, and his guitar. and that is how I dressed the other night. Rebel Wrangler Mayhem, knew some extra information about Willie, regarding a run in with the IRS (not the Intergalactic Relocation Service as I first beleived) and the IRS Tapes record, which depicts Willie with a certain phrase on his shirt, that I cannot say. That is why my shirt says "Stitch Happens".

The Stars are out, Deep in the Heart of Texas

Stitch loves Texas! Why? Because everything is bigger there. The food, the sky, and the stars. Stitch traveled back to Texas, Austin, Texas because he found out his friend and big Texas star and Legend Willie Nelson was in town for the Texas Heritage Song Writer’s Association Homecoming (March 1st, 2009 at the Paramount Theatre). Willie was to be honored in 2009 along with other great Texas songwriters for their contribution to Texas heritage through song writing. Stitch knew that Willie knew all about the IRS and Stitch needed some advice on how to handle those folks. After visiting with Willie, I found out that the IRS was not the Intergalactic Relocation Service. Willie could not help Stitch but we had a good time visiting with my friend, and I am on the road again.

Stitch would like to give a special shout out to Stitch's Adventure Club, Wrangler Mayhem for doing such an excellent job on my hair and makeup that complemented my excellent wardrobe selection. Kudos!

Stitch Attends “Surfer, Dude” Premiere starring Matthew McConaughey

Stitch attended the premier one of Stitch’s friend’s new movie, Surfer, Dude. Stitch’s, Matthew McConaughey, was very busy hobnobbing with other celebrities there, like Woody Harrelson, so Stitch did not think he would get to see his friend up close. Stitch got to see the red carpet entrance made by the stars and also got to go down the red carpet for his own picture. After the movie Stitch got to see Matthew backstage and take a picture with him. Sorry that my wrangler was not too prepared because it was dark back there and the picture did not come out real good. Stitch will have to see Matthew again sometime and take picture of his better side.

Stitch’s movie review: Being a surfer dude myself, Stitch was really excited to see the movie. Stitch found out the movie was not Surfer Dude, like Stitch, but Surfer, Dude! There was lots of surfing. Stitch did have to cover his eyes with his ears several times during the movie because my wrangler said there were things that children should not see. It is rated R. Stitch just got lucky to get in since I am a dog and a friend of Matthew’s. The costume budget wasn’t very big for this movie as Matthew only wore his one bathing suit. Stitch has much bigger wardrobe than that!
