Hot Doggin’ It!

Stitch is the classic Hot Dog. So we wanted to bring him to the other classic Hot Dog. So when we heard the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile was around Wrangler Scorch’s neck of the woods, we did our best to meat up with it. We finally did ketchup with the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile in Burlingame, California. Wrangler Scorch messed up and didn’t take a medium shot of Stitch and the Wienermobile in the background. Instead she got him inside. That is okay, right? We think so and will forgive Wrangler Scorch, just this once.

2011 marks the 75^th Anniversary of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile relishing the roads of America.

Stitch’s Purrfect Halloween costume

So we told you we had the purrfect Halloween costume this year for Mr. Stitch. In honor of Halloween and Stitch’s favorite non-Disney character (and opening weekend of his new movie), Stitch has selected to be Puss in Boots (minus the boots….he doesn’t like wearing shoes).

Like most kids, Stitch is ramped up for Halloween days before time. So Stitch dressed up to go to Wal-Mart. Stitch was told by a friend of ours that he would find a coupon at certain McDonalds within Wal-Mart for a free 16x20 poster of his friend Puss in Boots. It took an extra half hour to get it from the photo department because it had to be printed from a machine, but still it was a cool early Halloween gift. So if you like Puss in Boots, like Stitch does, you may want to find one of the special Wal-Mart/McDonalds/HP coupons for a free 16x20 poster of Puss in Boots (worth $12.97).

And remember everyone, have a safe and fun Halloween.

Stitch wants to help your Halloween

Stitch’s Adventure Club and Stitch love Halloween. Now is the time to start thinking about buying your pumpkin (s) for your special Halloween carving (s). If you want to have a Stitch themed pumpkin you need to have the pattern if you aren’t artistically inclined to design one yourself.

There are a couple of books out there with Stitch patterns. Last year we found ours at Walgreens. You may want to look there to see if they have a book with a Stitch pattern.

We scoured the internet looking for free Stitch templates for your pumpkin, but we only found one.

Slow week for Stitch’s Adventure Club

So after a week chock full of excitement with the Blue Angels, we had no excitement this week for Stitch. We did head to the Disney Store this week to pick up the latest Disney Movie to come out, Lion King, while be on the lookout for new Disney Store Stitch swag. They had the standard plush, a Stitch sippy, and a Christmas ornament. If you are a huge fan of Stitch, you will have noticed that the current Christmas ornament of Stitch (Elvis Stitch) is the exact same ornament that we featured in a blog a couple years ago, except with a different tag. We Stitch fans must demand high quality Stitch items, loudly and often. But if you do not own the ornament it is definitely a must have for your collection and at $10.50 an okay price for a holiday ornament. We would have just preferred a new style for our beloved Stitch.

Coming up in a future blog, we are trying to come up with some fun filled seasonal themed items or adventures.

Stitch’s anticipation for San Francisco’s 2011 Fleet Week

Every year, during the first week in October, San Francisco hosts it’s world famous Fleet Week. 1 million of Stitch’s closest friends will be along San Francisco’s waterfront to witness the parade of ships and the Navy’s Blue Angels along with other pageantry to celebrate San Francisco’s long naval and military heritage. This year marks the 30^th Anniversary of the event.

Stitch is hoping to get near a cool plane for a photo op this weekend. Stay tuned to see if Stitch get’s a picture with a Blue Angel plane or another cool participant of this year’s .
