Happy 10th Anniversary to Lilo and Stitch & Stitch’s Adventure Club

Now folks before there is an argument, there is a little discrepancy as to when Lilo and Stitch’s official release was.  It was either June 21st, 2002 or June 22nd, 2002 (but we really think it was the 21st).  Now there are several places that  have different dates, including pins, and books, so we are just going with both as the non-committal answer and posting our anniversary post sort of in between the two to be safe. ;)

We at Stitch’s Adventure Club are amazed at all of the Adventures we have been on since being introduced to the most awesome character Stitch and hope for many more fantastic adventures.
We also would like to give a shout out to Stitch’s voice and creator, Chris Sanders.  Without him, stitch would have never been born.

On behalf of our club we would like to thank you for being a fan of Lilo and Stitch, and most importantly Stitch and for you to urge the Walt Disney family of Companies to share their love of Stitch and produce more products, and programing.  IF he is out of sight, he can become out of mind, and we wouldn’t want that.  He has lasted for 10 bodacious years; let’s hope here lasts for many more decades to come.

Thanks again Stitch fans. And enjoy our 10 year retrospective collage of our club (an abbreviated version).

Aloha!

Hot Doggin’ It!

Stitch is the classic Hot Dog. So we wanted to bring him to the other classic Hot Dog. So when we heard the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile was around Wrangler Scorch’s neck of the woods, we did our best to meat up with it. We finally did ketchup with the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile in Burlingame, California. Wrangler Scorch messed up and didn’t take a medium shot of Stitch and the Wienermobile in the background. Instead she got him inside. That is okay, right? We think so and will forgive Wrangler Scorch, just this once.

2011 marks the 75th Anniversary of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile relishing the roads of America.
Special thanks to the Southwest Team of Yoli Bolonga (http://hotdoggerblog.com/author/yolanda/) and Tailgatin’ Traci (http://hotdoggerblog.com/author/traci/) travelin’ on RELSHME for being such nice and Awesome HotDoggers.

As a special note: There was no sponsorship associated with this write up. We are just crazy Stitch people who love a great American icon and their Hot Dogs.

Stitch in front of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile. Stitch thought the license plates were cool.

Stitch inside on the cool seats of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile. Mustard yellow and Ketchup red makes Stitch hungry.

Stitch likes souvenir photos too

Stitch is just like any human and likes the occasional souvenir photo. Since he is smaller than most humans we can make him fit certain scenes better. The typical souvenir photos can be anything from a photo background where you take a photo in front of a generic picture or taken with a green screen in the background and the photo booth operators place a background of our choosing.

At All-Star fest 2007 there were lots of ops for souvenir photos. Also at Walt Disney World during special events there are also unique photo opportunities. We at the Stitch’s Adventure Club thought we would share a couple of our favorites from the vaults. Unfortunately Stitch has been playing on the computer again and rearranged our organizational system. So for now we can only show you our favs from all-star fest 2007. Stitch was naughty this week. Tsk tsk Stitch.

And a special note, all TM and Copyrights are of the respective brands. These were just normal souvie pix that anyone there could have obtained. We just obtained them with Stitch in his baseball uniform.

This was a souvenir photo that was an actual postcard. Courtesy of Upper Deck Card Company. Wrangler Scorch doesn't like her photo taken, so Stitch got this awesome postcard.

An Actual Baseball Card. It is two sided, but we didn't capture the second side for this blog. This is Pitcher Stitch from Kauai.

Any Slugger or All Star needs to be on the front of a Wheaties Box. Here is Stitch on the Wheaties Box!
