Stitch and Si (or Am) at Halloween Time

Stitch has been to Walt Disney World many times throughout the years. And though we haven’t traveled with him much lately, a few years back we took this photo of Stitch, at then, Disney’s MGM Studios in Florida during Halloween time. Stitch forgot his real Halloween costume, but the cat sure didn't. We aren't sure which cat it is, Si or Am. All we know is that they are Siamese if you please. But at least Stitch was sporting his Hawaiian shirt.

Which get us to thinking, what should Stitch dress up for Halloween this year? There are many options, but what will he be? Wrangler Scorch might have the purrfect costume for Mr. Stitch.

If we find the outfit, and take a photo, you will be the second to know. We will be the first. ;)

Until then, ponder those Halloween carvings of Stitch. We would love for you to share them with us. Maybe we could even share a few on here, if you let us.

Until next time Stitch fans, Aloha!

Retrospective- 2007 Year of a Million Dreams Stitch’s Dream

So these are the lost photo files that we were originally going to post in 2007. During the Year of a million Dreams we were at Walt Disney World for the September pin event. But in between pin trading we are always thinking of photo ops. Stitch’s Adventure Club strives to get once in a lifetime photos or experiences for Stitch. So when rumor had it that Disney’s MGM Studios was going to have a name change, that is Disney history in our opinion. We needed Stitch’s photo with the Disney’s MGM Studio Water Tower and other signage with the Lion.

We wanted to get Stitch as close to the Disney MGM studio water tower as possible, but due to limitations in our clearance not being Cast Members we had to get a little magic from Tinker bell. So Tinkerbell and some anonymous Cast Members help make Stitch’s picture dream come true.

Stitch typed on the photos with his story. Enjoy!

RETROSPECTIVE: Stitch in the Conch Republic (Key West, Florida)

Stitch loves Florida, home of his animated birthplace Walt Disney World. On a trip to Florida, Stitch had the opportunity to head south to the Conch Republic (A.K.A. Key West, FL). Down in Key West Stitch was able to have opportunity to try some rockin’ Key Lime Pie and meet some new furry friends with some extra toes at the Ernest Hemingway House and Museum. Stitch also took some time out of his busy schedule to check out the Sea Turtle museum because Stitch cares about wildlife and the ocean and wanted to learn more about his friend Crush. And his final destination was the Southern Most Point in the Continental United States Marker. Stitch loves his photo ops!

RETROSPECTIVE: Stitch hangs out in Canada, eh?

Stitch loves Epcot (especially Canada)! Stitch used to love eating Beaver tail pastries in Canada at Epcot. Basically a beaver tail pastry or dessert is fried dough spread out in the shape of a Beaver’s tail; flat and roundish that can accommodate any number of toppings. The day Stitch visited when we shot these pictures a few years back Trapper Bob’s was closed, but Stitch did pose with a real Canadian Cast Member (and with Rutt and Tuke). And to make sure Stitch fit in; he made sure to dress the part, as a Canadian Mountie. Check out Stitch’s duds.

Stitch braves the infamous “Beverly”

Stitch has never been to the World of Coke in Atlanta, but often travels to WDW. Stitch Wrangler Scorch and Stitch recently were at Walt Disney World’s Epcot and thought they would wonder into Club Cool located in Innovations Hosted By Coca-Cola for some free soft drink samplings from around the World.

Stitch and Scorch had heard some interesting things on a flavor called “Beverly”. Beverly is a flavor of carbonated beverage produced by Coca-Cola in Italy. It is considered an aperitif. And Apertif is a beverage that is used to make you have an appetite and served before a meal (Which was great since we wondered into Club Cool before lunch).
Scorch has been to World of Coke in Atlanta and had avoided it. Stitch talked Scorch into finally trying the infamous flavor in Florida. Much to Scorch’s surprise, it wasn’t THAT bad. It was just….different. Stitch also tried it and it was his favorite drink of the day (must be those alien taste buds).

FUN FACT about Beverly: The drink contains an ingredient called quinine. This ingredient under UV light (aka Black light) will glow.

Free park admission on your birthday in 2009

Aloha:

There is nothing Stitch likes more than Disney, except maybe free stuff. Flor-i-da is one of my homes, and holds a special place for me there. For the 2009 Disney season, they are celebrating BIRTHDAYS, yea! Stitch likes birthdays, especially coconut cake. Yummy. Disney Theme Parks is giving a birthday gift for people who celebrate their real birthday day at their US Theme Parks and those that sign up online. What is Disney giving as a gift? Free admission to a park. Yea!

The only thing about the Disney gift, is that you have to sign up online, and be there on your birthday. Nothing like a birthday at Disney. You get your specially birthday button or sticker (at City Hall) and have everyone treat you special.

If you are planning a birthday celebration at a Disney Theme Park (in the United States) for 2009, sign up on line and get your gift.

Even Lilo, who has an annual pass, can receive a gift (for passholders who already paid for admission throughout the year). It isn't free admission, but they have other options for passholders and multi-day pass people. Disney thought of everything this time. Good job theme park people.

Aloha for now.

Stitch

P.S. Click on the title of this blog, and it will take you to the Disney site to sign up. Good Luck, and Happy Birthday in 2009.
