Retrospective: Stitch Escaped Florida!!
Stitch wasn’t very long to contain himself as he started aboard the ship making friends with passengers, cast members, crew, and even celebrities. He hobnobbed with most of the celebrities on board ship and even made a guest appearance during Bob Saget’s first performance.
Passengers on board the ship experienced an unusually rocky day at sea. Little did they know it was not due to rough seas, but to the rough seamanship of Captain Stitch. Stitch had taken over the ship! He took the helm and even attempted to do Captain Thord’s reports in his office. Once Stitch left his duties on the Bridge and went back to socializing, things went back to normal, at least on the Bridge.
Stitch traveled from Orlando through the Panama Canal to Los Angeles and made appearances at all the ports of call, making friends all along the way. On arrival in the Los Angeles, he visited Disneyland and started celebrating the kick-off of Disneyland’s 50th with all his friends.

Stitch's Impromptu Trip to Disneyland!
Stitch first checked in to the Disneyland Hotel. He then met up with some character friends; Pluto, Chip, Dale, Goofy, Mickey, Koda, and one he has never met before, Duffy The Bear.
Scorch and Stitch were impressed with the one year old water show, World of Color. WE waited in line for the soft opening of the Little Mermaid ride, but King Triton was creating rough seas, so we will have to ride after it officially opens. Little Mermaid (@ DCA) and Star Tours 3-D (DL) officially open on the same day this Friday, June 3, 2011.

Retrospective: Stitch’s Golden Ticket on a Hot Air Balloon
During the Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary (now we are currently in it’s 55th year), the Stitch’s Adventure Club had a tip about the 50th anniversary hot air Balloon, Mickey with Golden Ears, being in different cities throughout the country. The adventure club had been on the Inaugural Panama Canal Cruise on the Magic (we have not shared that yet) and also been at Disneyland on July 17th. We had to follow the final “golden” opportunity. This was a press only event, but Stitch’s Adventure Club, was not a press organization, and actually didn’t even have a blog at the time. We were just a fan club. Through a little faith, trust, pixie dust and Disney magic (only current and former Cast Members truly know how this works), we appeared in Albuquerque, New Mexico, (Home of the Hot Air Balloon Festival) and Stitch used his golden opportunity to fly on the 50th DLR Hot Air Balloon, piloted by the first Disney female balloon pilot, Laurie Spencer and her husband Scott Spencer.
During the split two day event, Stitch got to meet the pilots, the ground crew, Mickey and Minnie and the 50th Anniversary Disneyland Ambassadors, while also meeting some new local friends.
We took a couple hundred pictures of the big day, but they wouldn’t all fit on Stitch’s Balloon Board of Fame. He rotates them . ;)Thanks to everyone involved in this awesome experience. It was the first time Wrangler Scorch had been around a hot air balloon and it was extremely exciting to see the balloon inflated and deflated. It was also special because it was Mickey (although it would have been better if it was Stitch). Stitch had a great time too, getting to ride the special 50th Golden Ears Mouse Balloon.
Please remember, we at the Stitch’s Adventure Club, have never had an insider connection to help us and currently get these opportunities just because we are simply the best at what we do; sharing and creating Disney Magic for all. Some people have inquired about insider connections, and we have not been privy. But if someone has an insider connection with Disney, a celebrity, or unique opportunity, that would be interesting for Stitch to partake in, we are all Ears (pun intended).
Some think we are crazy, but we are having fun creating our magical experiences for people of all ages.

Stitch: Party Crasher!
Stitch at the controls of the Disney Magic during the Panama Canal Cruise (don't ask how he did it. Just remember, Stitch is Amazing!)
During the 50th Celebration of Disneyland, Stitch crashed the Inaugural Cruise through the Panama Canal back in 2005. Now in 2009 Stitch is going to crash a party; a Disney Cruise Line House Party!
One of Stitch’s crew was fortunate enough to get selected as a House Party host. Well unfortunate for them, Stitch is going to crash that party, just like the Disney Magic.
So on November 14, Stitch is takin’ over a House Party and showing everyone what it is like to be Disney Crusin’, Stitch Style.

Happy Holidays from Stitch's Adventure Club

Sorry for not having an update in a while. Stitch has been on a much needed vacation. Hopefully Stitch will have some new adventures for you in the upcoming year.
From everyone at Stitch’s Adventure Club, we would like to wish your Ohana (family and friends) a happy and safe holiday, which ever you may celebrate. And If you don’t celebrate anything, stay warm and dry this winter.
Love, Stitch and his Wranglers, Scorch and Mayhem

Free park admission on your birthday in 2009
There is nothing Stitch likes more than Disney, except maybe free stuff. Flor-i-da is one of my homes, and holds a special place for me there. For the 2009 Disney season, they are celebrating BIRTHDAYS, yea! Stitch likes birthdays, especially coconut cake. Yummy. Disney Theme Parks is giving a birthday gift for people who celebrate their real birthday day at their US Theme Parks and those that sign up online. What is Disney giving as a gift? Free admission to a park. Yea!
The only thing about the Disney gift, is that you have to sign up online, and be there on your birthday. Nothing like a birthday at Disney. You get your specially birthday button or sticker (at City Hall) and have everyone treat you special.
If you are planning a birthday celebration at a Disney Theme Park (in the United States) for 2009, sign up on line and get your gift.
Even Lilo, who has an annual pass, can receive a gift (for passholders who already paid for admission throughout the year). It isn't free admission, but they have other options for passholders and multi-day pass people. Disney thought of everything this time. Good job theme park people.
Aloha for now.
Stitch
P.S. Click on the title of this blog, and it will take you to the Disney site to sign up. Good Luck, and Happy Birthday in 2009.
